Yukinobu Tatsu’s Dandadan Vol. 25 opens at No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Book Hot 100 released Sept. 10, tracking the week from Aug. 31 to Sept. 6.

The volume topped e-books and collected points in brick-and-mortar (No. 3), e-commerce (EC) and social media. A third season of the Dandadan TV anime is confirmed for 2027.

Dandadan leads a strong week for titles with upcoming screen adaptations. Kagurabachi Vol. 12 finishes just behind at No. 2, topping brick-and-mortar and hitting No. 2 for e-books. The series is set for a TV anime adaptation in April 2027. The final volume (Vol. 48) of Takeshi Konomi’s Shin Tennis no Oji-sama (The New Prince of Tennis), serialized in Jump Square since 2009, lands at No. 11, with both brick-and-mortar and e-books in the top 20. A TV anime covering the “U-17 World Cup Finals Selection” arc launches in October.
