The SEC released the initial injury report for the Rebels and Commodores on Oct. 7. Ole Miss has 11 players on the initial report. Vanderbilt has six, including starting quarterback Jared Curtis, who is probable after missing last week's game vs Georgia.
Ole Miss coach Pete Golding gave an update on Lacy's status on Oct. 5. Lacy has not played since Week 3 with a shoulder injury, but he is expected to return in a limited capacity against Vanderbilt.

"Obviously (Lacy) rested all last week," Golding said. "Did rehab. Was good for that for a solid week, not practicing. Practiced last night, came back. Did individual, did some team sessions. A lot of that was non-contact last week. Fully anticipate having him this week."
Lacy has 39 carries for 191 yards and four touchdowns in 2026. He rushed for 1,567 yards and 24 touchdowns in 2025, when he broke out as a national star.
