She has been a familiar face on screens for over 40 years, yet her appearance has remained remarkably unchanged.

And Carol Vorderman, 65, continued to amaze fans with youthful looks at the Pride Of Britain Awards on Monday as she revealed a glamorous new makeover.

The self-confessed geek left fans floored as she debuted a darker hairdo, pearly white teeth and accentuated her hourglass curves in a bodycon glitter gown.

Fans insisted the presenter appears to be 'ageing in reverse' as the Countdown queen showcased her younger-than-ever appearance.

'You've actually got younger looking and remind of the Glamour of 60s', one fan gushed on her Instagram page.

Carol has previously said she has a 'no f***s given' approach to ageing as she recounted the abuse she often gets over her appearance.

The presenter, who hopes to get a facelift in the future, has been honest about her use of Botox and filler in the past.

Meanwhile, Carol credits her unconventional approach to dating and active sex life for keeping her energised, happy and confident in her sixties.

Here are all of Carol's incredible secrets to staying youthful...

Celebrities often appear to be ageing slower than the rest of us, maintaining their youthful good looks for decades.

With the best experts giving advice and the money to splash on luxury treatments and beauty products, it's no surprise that Carol manages to stay looking so young.

Earlier this year, Carol revealed she is hoping to go under the knife and have a facelift 'in the next couple of years.'

The presenter has previously hit back at criticism she's faced for having Botox to maintain her ageless appearance.

Hitting back at critics of her tweakments, Carol declared she'll 'spent her money on what she likes' and has 'no issue' with having surgery in the future.

Speaking to Daily Mail's Richard Eden, she said: 'I don't look as good as I did in my 40s, but I don't think I look bad for my age.

'I have Botox and all of those things, and I'm probably going to have a facelift in the next couple of years.'

'It's my money, I've earned it, so I'll spend it on what I like. I am accepting of myself, but I also want to look good, and those two things can go together.'

Defending her use of Botox, Carol told The Sunday Times Magazine in 2024: 'Everyone on telly has Botox. I look the way I do because it makes me happy.

'But you get to a point in life where it's no f***s given. I love what David Bowie said about ageing: "You become the person you always should have been."

'My sixties is the age I always should have been. The abuse I get is off the scale but I don't give a monkey's. Actually it spurs me on.'

She also told how she has actually never had a boob job but that she went up three cup sizes when she went through menopause.

Diet and fitness

She embarked upon an incredible body transformation back in 2022 where she stayed at the exclusive Juice Master retreat in Portugal.

Guests are sustained on a mixture of juices, smoothies, and warm soups in the winter months.

Detailing the visit on social media, Carol revealed she had sustained herself on just juice for 15 of the 18 days she stayed at the retreat. The other three days she popped out to restaurants.

She posted on Instagram: 'I've dropped over a dress size and bursting with energy. Haven't been into these shorts for a few years and now they're loose. Boommmm.

'My other half here @jules__sampson has dropped TWO dress sizes and looks incredible and feels so strong. It's a special place here. So chilled out and happy. Jason has created the magic alright.'

Posts shared on Instagram showed Carol and Jules taking part in an outdoor exercise class with medicine balls.

The TV star also relies on the help of a personal trainer - a Welsh rugby captain - who pushes her harder with weights.

She explained working with a PT helps her as she gets older to adhere to a strict fitness regime and keep in shape.

Carol also manages her health by eating healthy nutritious meals but also incorporating intermittent fasting to help her body recover.

Intermittent fasting is a type of time-restricted diet in which fasters leave a long gap between their last meal of one day and first of the next.

Research shows that intermittent fasting is a way to manage weight and improve over all health.

Carol also took up yoga to help with her flexibility and stretching as it is good for core, abs and back strength.

Yoga is great for increasing flexibility, muscle strength and tone while also improving respiration, energy and vitality.

Unconventional love life

Carol is openly single and does not date a traditional single partner, instead maintaining casual relationships with multiple 'special friends'

Carol is openly single and does not date a traditional single partner, instead maintaining casual relationships with multiple 'special friends'.

Earlier this year, Carol joked that 'times are hard' after revealing that she was now down to only 'three special friends' as she opened up about her casual relationships.

Carol has always been open about her romantic companions, who she dates at the same time because she could not think of 'anything worse than being with a full-time partner'.

She or the men were always free to end the relationship, but although Carol has now parted ways with two she has not found any new ones and is now making do with the three.

She told cheekily Alan Carr on his Life's A Beach podcast this week: 'It's down to three. Times are hard.'

But she said despite her preference of casual relationships, she does not believe in short-term holiday romances.

She added: 'Here's the thing, there's a big difference between going on holiday and having a you know what and coming back. And I don't do that.'

She said of her current arrangements: 'It's very different. They're three like quite long term.'

The broadcaster has been single since she split from journalist Des Kelly in 2007, after being married twice.

But she has no plans any time soon to be finding one man and settling down.

Speaking to The Mirror, Carol said: 'I have no desire to settle down right now. Maybe when I'm 82 - with a 45-year-old!'

Carol went on to call out society's expectations of women as she added: 'There's this idea that women need a man to travel, to live, to enjoy themselves - you really, really don't.

'That's not anti-men - it's pro-women, there's a whole world out there and women are reaching for it.'
