2 injured in explosion at under-construction building in Bengaluru

Pulakeshinagar police have launched an investigation into the incident.

BENGALURU: At least two construction workers sustained serious head and facial injuries in an explosion at an under-construction building in Bengaluru’s Pulakeshinagar area, police said on Wednesday.According to news agency PTI, the injured workers, Allauddin and Suraj, were admitted to Bowring Hospital for treatment.The incident occurred on Tuesday on Jarmia Road.Following the incident, officials from the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), the Internal Security Division (ISD) and the bomb squad inspected the site as a precautionary measure.Pulakeshinagar police have launched an investigation into the incident.The cause of the explosion has not yet been established.
