Most-played games range from Clair Obscur to Civ to Elden Ring to Halo 2 and beyond.

Jack Crusher's introduction in Star Trek: Picard brought one of the biggest revelations in the show's history, confirming that Jean-Luc Picard and Beverly Crusher had secretly welcomed a son together. However, Jack's mysterious connection to his father's past would ultimately lead to one of the darkest and most twisted storylines in the franchise.

Throughout Picard's third and final season, Jack experienced terrifying visions and discovered unusual abilities that he struggled to explain. Eventually, he learned that he'd inherited a genetic connection to the Borg through his father's previous assimilation as Locutus. This made him extremely valuable to the Borg Queen, who goes on to assimilate Jack and transform him into Võx, Child of the Collective.

Fortunately, Picard managed to rescue his son during the series finale, freeing him from the Borg's control and allowing Jack to reclaim his humanity. Now, Star Trek is bringing back Jack Crusher in full Borg form in the upcoming release of "Vox, Child of the Collective" as part of a major new crossover.

Jack Crusher points phaser

Jack Crusher's Borg transformation is officially returning in Magic: The Gathering's upcoming Star Trek crossover through "Võx, Child of the Collective," a new card featured in the We Are the Borg Commander deck. The card depicts Picard's son in his fully assimilated form, revisiting his brief but terrifying transformation during Star Trek: Picard Season 3.

The card is classified as a rare Legendary Artifact Creature—Borg, with a power and toughness of 3/3 and a mana cost of five, including one blue mana. Its special ability activates when Võx enters the battlefield and at the beginning of the player's first main phase, granting the next artifact creature and Spacecraft spells cast that turn the undaunted ability. This will reduce their mana costs based on the number of opponents, potentially making it much easier to play powerful Borg units and ships.

Jack Borg form in We Are the Borg is truly fitting considering the deck's theme around assimilation and expanding the Collective. Led by the Borg Queen, the deck lets players strengthen their artifact creatures, assimilate opposing forces, build a dangerous Borg army, etc. It also features Locutus of Borg, meaning players can reunite Jack with his father's assimilated form too, alongside other recognizable characters like Seven of Nine and Hugh.

We Are the Borg is one of four Commander decks arriving with the crossover, alongside Federation Fleet, led by Jean-Luc Picard; Landing Party, featuring Spock; and Klingon Fury, led by Worf. Each includes 100 cards, with 32 new-to-Magic cards.

However, Wizards of the Coast has confirmed production and shipping delays affecting Commander decks in North America, warning that some products may arrive after the planned November 13 release. Certain products in other regions are also affected, although no revised release date has been announced.

Fortunately, the larger Magic: The Gathering x Star Trek crossover is still scheduled for November 13, 2026, with pre-release events beginning today, November 6, and a digital launch on MTG Arena on November 10. Celebrating 60 years of Star Trek, the ambitious crossover brings together iconic characters, starships, enemies, technology, and dozens of iconic moments from across the franchise in one massive collection.
