Nigeria forward Janet Akekoromowei says the Falconets are fully determined to lift the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup trophy.

Akekoromowei, who scored Nigeria’s second goal against England, insists the team is ready to give everything in pursuit of their ultimate objective.

“The reason why we are here is to take the Cup home,” the Benfica of Portugal striker told FIFA.

“We are going to give our all. Our coach pushes us and we push ourselves on and off the pitch. We stay focused and determined.”
