Angelica Lopez seeks votes for Miss Grand International 2026 'pre-arrival'

Reina Filipinas Angelica Lopez is in need of public votes to help her secure a spot in the “Top 10 pre-arrival” of the 2026 Miss Grand International pageant.

As in the previous editions, the Miss Grand International pageant will again have 10 delegates at an elusive dinner with Nawat Itsaragrisil, the organization’s president, and the reigning queen.

Last year’s winner is broadcaster Emma Tiglao, the second Filipino woman to receive the pageant’s “Golden Crown.” She will be joining Nawat and the 10 chosen delegates for this year’s exclusive dinner.

There are two ways where the public can help Lopez secure her spot at the table, one is through social media, and another through paid voting.

On Facebook and Instagram, those who intend to vote should follow the Miss Grand International pageant’s official accounts on the two platforms.

Fans need to give a heart reaction on Lopez’s posted photo on Facebook for her to earn a point. A share is equivalent to two points.

On Instagram a heart reaction will earn one point for Lopez, while a share is equivalent to three points.

Five ladies will be chosen from social media voting. Only the heart reactions and shares made by those who follow the pageant’s Facebook and Instagram pages will be counted.

The other five slots at the exclusive dinner will go to the ladies who will top the “Miss Popular Vote” online poll.

Visit the Miss Grand International website to vote [ https://missgrandinternational.com/campaign/miss-popular-vote/ ]. One vote is equivalent to 35 Thai Baht. Voting will end on Sept. 19 at 12 noon in Bangkok (1 P.M. in Manila).

The 2026 Miss Grand International delegates are expected to arrive in Bangkok on Sept. 18. The competition was supposed to take place in India, but the organization decided to move it back to Thailand earlier this month.

Lopez was crowned as the Philippines’ official delegate to the international competition at the inaugural staging of the Reina Filipinas pageant in August.

She is on a mission to succeed Tiglao, and become the third Filipino woman to be crowned Miss Grand International, for a “three-peat” for the Philippines. Christine Juliane “CJ” Opiaza was the 2024 titleholder. /edv
