Lady Gaga Welcomes First Baby With Michael Polansky

The “Abracadabra” singer welcomed her first baby with fiancé Michael Polansky, according to multiple outlets.
Gaga, 40, has not revealed the little one's name or sex.
E! News has reached out to her rep for comment but hasn't heard back.
The “Die With a Smile” singer—who got engaged to Michael in July 2024—previously shared insight into her and Michael’s plans to expand their family, saying she envisioned becoming a mom as she reached her 40s.
“Family, it’s like the roots of the tree,” Gaga (real name Stefani Germanotta) told Elle in January 2025. “They grow long, and sometimes they’re mangled, and sometimes they’re full of water, and sometimes they’re thirsty. Family is what makes you who you are, and it also defines your need for change.”
As for her vision for parenthood, Gaga and Michael hope to raise children that will forge their own path.
“I would want my children to understand that whatever my artistry means to them is totally up to them,” she explained. “I would never actually want to shape it or tell them how to think about me. Maybe other than that I just did my best. And tried to stay true to myself along the way.”

“That’s something Michael and I have talked about a lot,” the A Star is Born alum continued. “Allowing our kids to be their own people. It’s such an intense thing for kids coming into the world. And they’re told how to think and what to believe in and how to eat…I just kind of want to let my kids find out who they are.’”
The pair first met in 2019 while attending a birthday party for Napster cofounder Sean Parker—but Gaga already had her eyes set on him before that fateful night.
“My mom met him and she said to me, ‘I think I just met your husband,’” she told Vogue in 2024, “and I said, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!’ I could never have imagined that my mom…found the most perfect person for me?”

So, when Gaga learned Michael would be at the birthday bash, she recalled, "I went to the party and I kept asking for him and he finally came over to me and we talked for three hours. We had the most amazing conversation.”
From his side, the entrepreneur told the outlet, “I was struck immediately by her warmth and openness—she was so genuinely curious about what my life was like growing up in Minnesota.”
And since then, Gaga hasn’t been shy when it comes to their personal and professional partnership. Indeed, a year before welcoming their baby, the “Shallow” singer gave him a special shoutout during the 2025 VMAs.
“To my partner in all things, Michael,” she said after taking home the Artist of the Year award during the ceremony in September 2025. “Creating this year with you was a beautiful, beautiful dream. You have been my partner every step of the way. I dedicate this to you, too, my love.”
