‘Unhealthy’ air quality in Klang
Klang recorded unhealthy air quality this morning, while the rest of the country continued to enjoy clear skies.
The air pollutant index (API) reading in Klang stood at 118 as of 9am.
An API reading of between zero and 50 is categorised as good, 51 to 100 moderate, 101 to 200 unhealthy, 201 to 300 very unhealthy, and 301 and above hazardous.
Twenty-nine locations throughout the nation had moderate API readings, while 38 recorded good air quality.
