Northern Mindanao top cop Abrahano is new NCRPO OIC

MANILA, Philippines — Police Regional Office Northern Mindanao (PRO 10) Director Police Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano is the new officer in charge (OIC) of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

In a text message to the Inquirer, Philippine National Police (PNP) public information chief Col. Allen Rae Co confirmed that Abrahano has been appointed OIC of the NCRPO effective Sunday, Aug. 23.

The designation comes as Police Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin, who had been NCRPO director since November 2024, reached the mandatory retirement age of 56.

Abrahano is a member of the PNP Academy “Kaagapay” Class of 1996.

He was the director of PRO Caraga, then briefly served as Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) chief before becoming PRO 10 head. /apl
