Why The Golden Life Cast Don't Tell Luann de Lesseps About Their Men

Hot Goss The Golden Life Edition Ep 2: Sonja Morgan Spills on Tom & Kelly Bensimon Talks Raya
Sonja Morgan has a golden rule when it comes to her love life—and it involves longtime BFF Luann de Lesseps.
"We don't tell Luann who we're dating," The Golden Life star exclusively revealed on E!’s Hot Goss: The Golden Life Edition, hosted by Eyal Booker and Lonnie Marts IIV, during a joint interview with costar Kelly Bensimon before Kelly added, "because she steals boyfriends."
Which explains why Sonja was so mad at Kelly for spilling the tea about her new suitor to Luann during the E! reality show's Oct. 27 episode.
"She always does," Sonja, 62, reiterated to Eyal and Lonnie. "You didn't know that?!"
But prior to making up with Kelly, Sonja was seriously P.O.'d at the former model for gossiping about her recent romance—especially since Sonja was already in trouble for getting handsy with the "Money Can't Buy You Class" singer's boyfriend Michael Riemerschmid.
"I don't want her talking to Luann," Sonja—mom to 26-year-old daughter Quincy with late ex John Adams Morgan—reflected on the drama. "You don't need to fan the fire. I just put it out a little bit."
But Sonja isn't the only cast member getting lucky in her golden years. As fans saw, Kelly was certainly smitten after going on not one, but two dates during the E! reality series' latest episode.
So, where does Kelly stand with hunky horse trainer Juan and sexy Olympic snowboarder Nick after filming season one?
"We're in a situationship," Kelly shared before cheekily adding, "but then there was another guy that I was dating. We never met him."

The 58-year-old—mom to daughters Sea, 28, and Teddy, 26, with ex Gilles Bensimon—confessed she was feeling quite torn after being charmed by Nick, who she met on the dating app Raya, and Juan, who she met during her horse-riding date with Nick.
"Literally, I walk up and I see Juan and I go, 'Holy sugar!'" Kelly recounted. "Then Nick rolls up and he's like, 'Howdy,' and I was like, 'This guy is so cute.'"
And it's easy to see why the former model had trouble choosing between the two men. While Nick was "so hot" and "just the sweetest, kindest guy," according to Kelly, Juan was like "a Telenovela star."
Of course, only time will tell if Kelly has met her Mr. Right. In the meantime, the former NYC housewife is still perusing the dating apps for potential suitors.
And, boy, does she have an unexpected go-to opening line with the guys.
E!
"I just start with 'aloha,' is that weird?" Kelly shared. "Because then they are like, 'Wait, are you from Hawaii?'"
Of course, guys only get an "aloha" if they don't possess any of Kelly's dealbreakers.
According to Kelly, she's turned off "when they have weird cats and stuff" in their profile, while Sonja hilariously echoed of her own red flags, "When they're shirtless holding a fish."
Regardless of their profile pictures, Kelly isn't playing hard to get these days and is all about making the first move.
"I'm not waiting around," she cracked. "I'm 58 years old. Time's a ticking. Let's go."
Follow Kelly and Sonja's dating adventures when The Golden Life airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on E! followed by Hot Goss' exclusive interviews with the cast each week. In the meantime, keep reading to get better acquainted with the rest of The Golden Life cast.
