Exclusive: Coronation Street lines up a big new feud for Daniel Osbourne
Coronation Street's Daniel Osbourne will go head-to-head with Idris Nazir in a heated new storyline.
The two characters clash when another of Idris's business deals causes tension on the cobbles.

Junade Khan, who plays Idris, shared the news with Digital Spy while chatting on the red carpet at the Inside Soap Awards 2026.
"Idris had some money in property and land," Junade explained. "There's a school that's been abandoned, so they want to make this into a public space for kids to use.
"Daniel wants that, but Idris just wants to use it to build property! That's why we're fighting – and we get into a bit of a fight in the Rovers! As you do – it's a good place to fight!"
Idris previously upset Daniel a few months ago by laughing at online footage which showed him being pelted with paint outside No.1.
Fortunately, things are much rosier off camera as Junade continues to work on the storyline with Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel.
"He's a very, very good actor," Junade said. "I'm really enjoying my scenes with Rob."
It seems like Idris is going to be a busy man in the coming months, as he'll also be falling out with Carla Connor-Swain as he sets his sights on Underworld.
Fortunately, there's one person on the Street who's still a big fan of Idris – his partner Leanne Battersby.
"I think he really does like Leanne a lot," Junade added. "I think she starts to fall in love with him.
"We've got such nice chemistry now because I really feel comfortable with Jane [Danson, who plays Leanne]. He just likes that she's a real person and Idris has not really had a good family upbringing, so he wants a family.
"He really wants that love that he's never had as a kid. So there is a backstory – there is a reason why he's doing all that stuff."
Coronation Street airs on weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
