Sri Lanka has announced its squad for the upcoming tri-series with England and Pakistan beginning on October 18.
The triangular meet, which will be played in Pakistan, serves as preparation for all three sides ahead of next year’s ODI World Cup in South Africa.
Kusal Mendis leads a squad that that is largely the same as the one that suffered a 1-2 ODI series defeat in England last month. The notable names missing are all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga and batter Charith Asalanka.
Sahan Arachige, who led Sri Lanka to bronze at the Asian Games 2026, is called into the squad while Sachindu Colombage after an impressive debut series in England.
The series, which will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore, will follow a round-robin format, with the top two advancing to the final on October 31.
