At this year’s BAFTAs, the Princess of Wales joined her husband wearing a blush pink Gucci gown, which she had previously worn way back in 2019. It’s not the first time we’ve spotted Kate recycling outfits on the red carpet, proving that investment pieces rarely go out of style!

Kate’s stunning green velvet off-the-shoulder gown was by Talbot Runhof and, as well as the eye-catching neckline, the stretch-fabric dress featured ruching and a mermaid-flare hem. She accessorised with a silver clutch by Jenny Packham.

BAFTA FILM AWARDS 2023

It wasn’t just the beautiful one-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown that got everyone talking. The Princess had originally worn the white taffeta dress to the 2019 BAFTAs, but gave it a fresh twist by teaming it with chic opera gloves and a black clutch, giving the gown a new lease of life.

The royal stole the show at the UK premiere of No Time to Die way back in 2021, wearing a gold Jenny Packham gown embellished with dazzling sequins, making her one of the best-dressed on the red carpet that evening.

BAFTA FLIM AWARDS 2020

This gold embroidered gown, designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, was first worn by the Princess of Wales at a state dinner in Malaysia in 2012. For its 2020 red carpet reappearance, the bespoke design was subtly updated with revised sleeves. She completed the elegant look with a glittering Anya Hindmarch box clutch and a pair of sparkling Jimmy Choo pumps.
