A new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake has just been released, and while everything featured in it is an absolute blast for fans of the series, there’s one particular element in the announcement that’s quite a surprise: a brand-new area that wasn’t featured in the original. There are quite a few improvements to the 1998 masterpiece’s remake, including some redesigns in Zelda: Ocarina of Time that feel extremely promising. While the game will largely build upon the original, there will be some new additions.

Ahead of the game’s release in November, a new overview trailer for the game was published on the official Nintendo of America channel on YouTube, featuring nearly five minutes of gameplay and information. In that trailer, Nintendo revealed a brand-new area called Hall of Fallen Heroes, a zone that was not available in the original 1998 game. Instead, this will be a new area with a new gameplay mechanic, exclusive to Ocarina of Time Remake.
