The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2027 auction will take place in Kochi on Wednesday, October 28.
A total of 150 players, including 122 Indians and 28 overseas players, will go under the hammer for 27 available slots.
Fifteen-year-old Uma Kashvi will enter the auction as the youngest player on the list.
A right-arm spin-bowling all-rounder from Karnataka, Kashvi featured in the recent India Under-19 versus Sri Lanka Under-19 series. She took four wickets in three T20 matches and two more in as many one-day games.
However, Kashvi will not be the only 15-year-old in the auction. Delhi’s Anshu Nagar is also on the list.
Nagar is two months older than Kashvi, having been born on January 26, 2011. Kashvi was born on April 9 that year
