Defending champions Italy faces South Korea in Davis Cup Final 8, Spain to meet Austria

Italy, the defending Davis Cup champion, has been drawn against first-time finalist South Korea in the quarterfinals of the Davis Cup Final 8, while Spain will meet Austria, following Tuesday’s draw for the men’s team showpiece.

The concluding stage of the competition will be staged on indoor hard courts at Bologna’s Super Tennis Arena from November 24–29, with Italy aiming to secure a fourth straight title.

The other quarterfinal pairings see Czech Republic, which eliminated 32-time winner United States in the qualifiers, takes on Canada, and Germany, boosted by US Open champion Alexander Zverev’s form, facing Great Britain.
