"Perfect" new Shaun the Sheep movie with 100% rating is now available to watch in the UK

New Shaun the Sheep movie The Beast of Mossy Bottom, which has landed a perfect rating, is now available to watch in the UK. The latest big screen outing for the fan-favourite sheep sees the character turn into a mad scientist when the Farmer trashes their beloved pumpkin patch ahead of Halloween.

However, Shaun gets more than he bargained for when things spiral out of control, with the Farmer going missing and a beast roaming the woods of Mossingham.

If you want to catch the new animated family gem, it is now out in UK cinemas as of today, so be sure to get your tickets.

It's certainly worth catching, as The Beast of Mossy Bottom has earned a rare 100% perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes based on 44 reviews so far.

Digital Spy called it the "perfect early Halloween treat" in our five-star verdict, adding: "It's the perfect family watch for spooky season, mixing classic horror tropes with invention and wit as successfully as A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon did for the sci-fi genre."

Geek Vibes Nation said it "manages to feel perfectly suited for Halloween without losing the charm that makes the franchise so enjoyable", while The MacGuffin predicted it had "all the makings of a yearly traditional watch".

"Packed with plenty of gags, pop culture references, loveable characters and even a sweet love story, Shaun The Sheep: The Beast Of Mossy Bottom is another delightful stop-motion family charmer from Aardman," added Screen International.

The Guardian further called it "sharp, smart, funny and precise", as AV Club wrote: "It’s simple, soft, and warm, like a stuffed-animal version of a horror movie: inoffensive and, to a select group of kids, likely essential."

"The storytelling is tight, but of course the real attraction is the whirr of clever sight gags and witty little curlicues that hit the screen roughly every three seconds," Financial Times added.
