Girl, 16, died days after 'hit-and-run' in Wakefield 'after being found seriously injured on road': Man, 25, is arrested

A teenage girl has died days after she was found 'seriously injured on a road' following a suspected hit-and-run.
Nadia Mucha was knocked down close to a bus stop in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, September 29.
The 16-year-old had reportedly sustained serious head and chest injuries.
Nadia was rushed to hospital where she died four days later.
Now, West Yorkshire Police have arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Tributes have been posted on social media, with family and friends describing her as 'Nadia Victoria'.
Her cousin, Courtney Jade Biggs, wrote: '(Nadia) was the most beautiful, selfless, caring, loving, gentle, generous, hilarious, still soul. She didn't deserve any of this.'

Posting to TikTok, Lilly Rose wrote: 'Rest In Peace Nadia, love you lots girl.'
Temporary Detective Chief Inspector Elly Buchanan, of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: 'We are continuing to support Nadia's family through this horrific time and are working at pace to find them the answers they deserve.
'Our investigation is still ongoing and we urge anyone with any information to come forward and speak with us so that we can bring justice for Nadia's family.'
