Game Of Thrones Franchise Is Officially Bringing Back Jon Snow On November 18

Becoming an iconic fictional character is no easy feat, but it is certainly one that has been achieved by Jon Snow from George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire franchise. However, if you have yet to read the book series (although I highly recommend it), you will most recognise actor Kit Harington, who took on the role of the bastard child of Ned Stark throughout the events of Game of Thrones.
Being one of the rare characters who managed to survive the show (albeit barely), Jon Snow goes on quite the journey from an unwanted Stark child to discovering that he is the last remaining Targaryen. Now, despite Game of Thrones ending back in 2019, Jon Snow is set to return later this month in an exciting new release.
Running from 18 November to 16 December, Game of Thrones: Legends is set to introduce a brand-new summon titled Crow of the Free Folk, and as you can probably already tell from its name, it is centered around Jon Snow himself. First, you may be wondering what Game of Thrones: Legends even is.
Released back in 2024, Game of Thrones: Legends is a free-to-play narrative-driven, puzzle RPG mobile game from Zynga. Being a mobile game may have already put you off, but rest assured, it would seem as though this is one of the good ones, as it currently boasts well over a million downloads.
It is during the game that players are able to collect iconic characters and their signature weapons and by doing so, you will be able to boast an army of some of the most beloved figures from not just Game of Thrones, but also House of the Dragon. This includes Jon Snow, Rhaenyra Targaryen, Daenerys Targaryen, Arya Stark, and Tyrion Lannister. You will also be able to build your own house in Westeros, manage resources, and play through quests and limited-time events which often correspond with the latest season of the ongoing shows.
Now, in the Crow of the Free Folk update, multiple Legendary Champions will be available as Summons, including Benjen Stark, Yoren, Ygritte, Mance Rayder, Tormund Giantsbane. However, the most exciting Summon is definitely the Crow of the Free Folk variant of Jon Snow. By using Exalted Tokens, you will be able to Summon the following characters and their variants:
- Jon Snow (Crow Of The Free Folk)
- Benjen Stark (First Ranger)
- Yoren (Recruiter Of The Night's Watch)
- Ygritte (Peerless Archer Of The Free Folk)
- Mance Rayder (King Beyond The Wall)
- Tormund Giantsbane (Champion Of The Free Folk)
The Crow of the Free Folk event arrives later this month, and runs until 2 AM ET on December 16, so if you do not want to miss out on the chance to add the Wildlings to your team, make sure to start saving up those Exalted Tokens. Not only that, but with regular events added to Game of Thrones: Legends on a monthly basis, there is plenty more where that came from as Game of Thrones fans wait for the launch of another RPG set in the lands of Westeros...
