What is repechage? How does it work in teqball? With teqball events underway at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, here is the lowdown on the system.

Quimcy Dsouza and Mohamed Anas Imran Beg lost 0-2 (7-12, 10-12) to Vietnam’s Hoang Minh Tan Nguyen and Gia Nghi Trinh but the Indian pair will have another opportunity to fight for a place on the podium through the repechage route.

They will face Jhoana Abulencia and Prince Agustin of the Philippines on Friday in a contest which decides who progresses to one of the two bronze medal matches on Sunday.
