Shakira and Burna Boy have entered YouTube’s Billion Views Club with their global collaboration “Dai Dai,” the official 2026 FIFA World Cup anthem.
Nearly four months after its release on May 23, the feel-good and vibrant music video that features both the Colombian and Nigerian stars is amongst the 10 fastest videos to reach the milestone. The achievement becomes Shakira’s seventh title to enter the club, while it marks Burna’s debut.
Additionally, “Dai Dai” spends another week at No. 1 on YouTube’s Global Top Songs and sits at No. 2 on US Top Songs.
Earlier this year, the soccer-spirited tune made history as the first World Cup song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and Global 200 charts, where it sat at the summit for 10 weeks and seven weeks, respectively. It also reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart dated Sept. 5, becoming Shakira’s first leader on the radio ranking, while Burna Boy collected his first champ in a lead role and second overall.
With “Dai Dai” now entering YouTube’s BVC, the Colombian sensation secures her seventh title following the videos for “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)”; “Chantaje” with Maluma; “TQG” with Karol G; “Can’t Remember to Forget You” with Rihanna; “LaLaLa (Brazil 2014)”; and “Perro Fiel” with Nicky Jam.
Meanwhile, her videos for “Me Enamoré,” “La Tortura” with Alejandro Sanz, “Girl Like Me” with Black Eyed Peas, and “Whenever, Wherever,” are on the verge of joining the club, all with more than 900 million views.
