Motorists told to avoid flooded roads in San Fernando, Pampanga
ANGELES CITY — The City of San Fernando has advised motorists to avoid roads inundated by continuous monsoon rains on Friday.
In social media posts on Friday, the City Public Order and Safety Coordinating Office (CPOSCO) said areas impassable to light vehicles as of 2:19 p.m. include the Vista Rica and Sampaloc areas of MacArthur Highway in Barangay Dolores, where moderate to heavy traffic on both northbound and southbound have been observed.

It said the Poblacion area at Barangay Sto. Rosario is also impassable to light vehicles due to floods.

The agency listed the following areas as impassable to light vehicles as of 1 p.m. on Friday: Barangay road fronting Brgy. Hall Magliman; GreenVille Subdivision in Barangay San Jose; the Tagulod Petron area going to Cabalenan and San Nicolas at Barangay Del Pilar; and the Barangay road of Aurea at Barangay Sta. Lucia.
Also impassable were the Camp Captain Julian Olivas area of MacArthur Highway at Barangay San Nicolas; the Barangay Road of Purok Pau at Barangay Pandaras; the city proper area in front of Primewater and Makabali Hospital; parts of the Capitol Boulevard at Barangay San Juan; the portion of Jose Abad Santos Avenue in front of the Laus Group buildings and Ponduan at Barangay San Jose./coa
