Serie A official line-ups: Roma vs. Sassuolo

Roma bring Rodrigo Mora and Manu Koné in to support Donyell Malen and have Devis Vasquez in goal against Alberto Aquilani’s troubled Sassuolo.
It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome at 19.45 GMT (20.45 CET).

The Giallorossi need to put the Champions League capitulation at Manchester United behind them, having thrown away another two-goal lead in Europe for a 3-2 defeat.
That brought added problems, because Gianluca Mancini and Devyne Rensch both sustained injuries and are ruled out here, while Pierluigi Gollini has not recovered from a back problem that forced him to sit it out at Old Trafford.
With Mile Svilar already out for over a month, it means third-choice goalkeeper Vasquez has to take the gloves for the second game in a row, the first in Serie A.
Still on the treatment table are Paulo Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini, but Manu Koné returns and is thrown straight back into the starting XI for the first time since the thigh strain against Real Madrid on October 14.

Sassuolo had started the season so well and beat Juventus 3-2, but have been plummeting down the standings after one point in the last six rounds.
They’ve been leaking goals during that period, conceding 10 in the last two defeats to Lazio and Fiorentina alone.
It is a return to the Stadio Olimpico for coach and former Roma player Aquilani, who started his management career in their youth academy too.

He has a lot of injury issues as well, losing Domenico Berardi, Cristian Volpato, Daniel Boloca, Ismael Koné and Fedde Leysen, but Kristian Thorstvedt is available again.
Armand Laurienté and Sebastiano Esposito start together in a new 3-5-2 formation, plus former Roma midfielder Nemanja Matic and returning goalkeeper Arijanet Muric.

Roma: Vasquez; Balerdi, N’Dicka, Hermoso; Molina, Cristante, Koné, Wesley; Soulé, Mora; Malen
Sassuolo: Muric; Walukiewicz, Idzes, Caleta Car; Cinquegrano, Sulemana, Thorstvedt, Matic, Doig; Laurienté, Esposito
