Yeng Constantino brought back memories of her “what if” romance with Ryan Bang when she serenaded the TV host with “Sabihin Mo Na” during the second night of her 20th-anniversary concert, “Biyaheng Bente,” over the weekend.

In a video uploaded by Cornerstone Entertainment, Constantino stepped down from the stage and approached Bang, who was seated in the audience beside Vice Ganda.

Constantino held Bang’s hand as she sang Top Suzara’s “Sabihin Mo Na,” with the two locking eyes during the performance.

The singer then teased Bang after noticing his reaction. “Bakit para kang iiyak?” Constantino asked, drawing cheers and laughter from the audience.

Vice Ganda also could not hide her kilig as the crowd cheered for the almost-couple.

In a separate video uploaded by a netizen, Constantino shared the backstory of her relationship with Bang before serenading him.

“Yung kay Ryan kasi ‘yung nangyari samin sineenzone niya ako. Crush na crush kita noon. Tapos ako ’yung nanlilibre sa kaniya pang date. Sobrang gusto ko siya. Pumunta ka lang sa restaurant, ako na bahala kasi crush kita,” she said.

“Ryan, I love you my friend,” she added.

Constantino and Bang previously revealed that they almost became a couple after Bang courted the singer in 2010.

Bang, who described Constantino as his first crush, recalled that he would send her coffee and even went to church with her while pursuing her.

Constantino, however, said she never rejected Bang. Instead, she was left wondering why he suddenly stopped pursuing her.

“Hindi kita binasted. Hindi kita binasted noon. Tumigil na lang siya magpadala ng kape,” Constantino said during a 2022 episode of “It’s Showtime.”

The “Chinito” singer admitted that she was hurt when Bang stopped pursuing her. “Oo, na-sad ako noon,” she said.

Bang explained that he thought Constantino was not interested in him because she repeatedly declined his invitations to go out at night. He also misunderstood Constantino’s time with singer Richard Poon, thinking they were dating when she was actually attending a prayer meeting.

Constantino later revealed that her experience with Bang inspired her song “B.A.B.A.Y,” after the TV host was accused of “ghosting” her.
