India judo, karate, kurash squads for Asian Games 2026 — Full list of players travelling to Aichi-Nagoya

The 20th edition of the Asian Games at Aichi-Nagoya in Japan is set to begin on September 19 and will continue on until October 4.

India’s contingent for the continental tournament includes 503 athletes (269 men, 234 women) across 36 sports, supported by 246 coaches and officials, taking the total delegation to 768 members.

India will field an 11-member squad across judo, karate, and kurash.

In judo, Asmita Dey (-48 kg), Yamini Mourya (-57 kg), and Inunganbi Takhellambam (-70 kg) will compete, with Asmita arriving after winning Commonwealth Games gold in the 48 kg category.

Karate will see Chetan Bhatt (-84kg) and Alisha Choudhary (-55kg) compete in kumite.

Kurash has the largest representation, with six athletes, including Vipin Kumar (-66 kg), Vishal and Yash Kumar (+90 kg), and three women across the 57 and -78 kg categories.
