It seems Justin Timberlake's and Jessica Biel's 11-year-old son, Silas Randall Timberlake, is ready for the limelight, following in his parents' footsteps in the industry. Born on April 8, 2015, Silas has remained out of the spotlight for most of his life thanks to his parents.

However, he recently made his official acting debut, joining his mother for her latest film, ‘Matchbox: The Movie.'

The 11-year-old makes a brief cameo appearance right at the end of ‘Matchbox: The Movie,' officially marking his debut as a child actor. The film premiered online on October 9 and showed a glimpse of Timberlake and Biel’s son in his acting role. Furthermore, ‘Matchbox’ marks Biel’s return to the industry and her first feature film in almost a decade.The actress had also previously talked about the role on October 5 while in conversation with E! News. At the time, she shared, "He plays a small part in the movie at the very end, which is really cute." During the interview, Biel also shared that Silas takes after both of his parents and is also interested in DJing, commenting on how he is “kind of interested in both lanes.” She concluded that the couple are going to let him decide his own path "and see what happens and what he really gets interested in.

Plot of ‘Matchbox: The Movie’

The action comedy film stars John Cena in the leading role as an undercover CIA agent. He ends up going on a worldwide adventure with his friends, the ‘Matchbox Gang,' by accident after he returns to his small hometown after nearly three decades to attend the funeral of Smalley (played by Bill Camp), the uncle of his childhood friend Aimee (played by Jessica Biel). The film also stars Sam Richardson, Arturo Castro, Teyonah Parris, and Corey Stoll.
