#SHOWBIZ: Feud or promo? Fasha and Elisya Sandha's cryptic posts leave fans guessing

Translate

KUALA LUMPUR: A series of cryptic social media posts by actress Fasha Sandha has left fans guessing about the current state of her relationship with her younger sister, fellow actress Elisya Sandha.

The 42-year-old star, whose real name is Nur Fasha Sandha Hassan, recently took to her Instagram Story to ask her followers for their thoughts on dealing with family members who fail to keep their word.

"Family is everything. If you make a promise, you should keep it, right?" she wrote.

"Have your own siblings ever broken a promise to you? Is it acceptable to feel aggrieved with siblings, or are second children always expected to yield?"

She added: "Who here is a second child? Second children are truly the best because of their patience, aren't they?"

Her posts appeared to trigger a response from Elisya via a separate update on Threads.

Expressing her frustration, Elisya shared: "I rarely write things like this, but I am deeply hurt. Is a younger sibling always expected to back down?"

"Just because you are the elder sister, do you think you can say whatever you like to hurt someone's feelings? Having an elder sister like this is completely pointless!" she added.

Despite the intense exchange, neither actress named specific individuals in their respective posts.

The online drama quickly caught widespread attention, though many social media users questioned whether the apparent rift was real or merely a publicity stunt for an upcoming television project.

"It is impossible for Elisya and Fasha to be fighting. I'm just waiting for the new TV3 drama," one commenter noted.

Another user chimed in: "Just reveal the title of the new drama and its release date. God willing, people will still support it."
