Foreign ministers from Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia issued a joint statement condemning comments made by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Defense Minister Israel Katz regarding the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

The ministers denounced proposed plans and mechanisms aimed at forcibly removing Palestinians from their land, characterizing the provocative statements as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, and a direct threat to the legitimate, inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.

In their unified declaration, the diplomats emphasized their absolute rejection and condemnation of any attempts or plans targeting the displacement of Palestinians—whether within or outside the occupied Palestinian territory—under any pretext.

Foreign ministers from eight nations warned of severe consequences if calls for forced displacement are translated into declared policies or actionable measures aimed at uprooting Palestinians from their land.

The ministers stated that such actions present a direct challenge to international peace efforts—most notably President Donald Trump’s comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza, which includes an absolute rejection of forced displacement.

They added that these measures carry grave risks capable of undermining regional stability.
