Félix Auger-Aliassime aurait trouvé son nouvel entraîneur

Félix Auger-Aliassime a fait son choix. Selon le Times, jeudi, le Québécois a choisi Ivan Ljubicic comme nouvel entraîneur. Une annonce officielle devrait être faite cette semaine, ajoute le quotidien.

Le cinquième joueur mondial a mis fin en juillet à son association avec Frédéric Fontang, avec lequel il faisait équipe depuis 2016.

Ljubicic a travaillé avec la légende Roger Federer de 2016 jusqu’à sa retraite sportive en 2022, après quoi il est devenu directeur de la performance à la Fédération de tennis française.

Selon le Times, Auger-Aliassime et Ljubicic commenceront immédiatement à travailler ensemble.

Aux côtés de Frédéric Fontang, Auger-Aliassime a remporté neuf titres en simple, entre 2022 et 2026. Il a aussi grimpé cette année au 4e rang mondial, un sommet dans sa carrière.
