Citilink resumes flights from Bandung to five Indonesian cities

Translate

Tangerang, Banten (ANTARA) - Citilink has resumed flights from Bandung's Husein Sastranegara Airport to five major Indonesian cities, expanding its domestic network to meet strong travel demand in West Java's capital, the airline said Tuesday.

Citilink President Director Darsito Hendroseputro said the restored services support national connectivity while capturing key passenger traffic to and from the region.

The routes are part of Citilink's efforts to support the broader restructuring of the Garuda Indonesia Group by focusing on high-demand domestic sectors, he added.

Daily services connecting Bandung with Medan, Denpasar, and Surabaya resumed on Monday, August 17.

Starting Tuesday, August 18, the budget carrier will also operate daily round-trip flights linking Bandung with Palembang and Balikpapan.

The resumed flights are expected to boost regional mobility, tourism, and business activity in West Java and destination hubs across the archipelago, Hendroseputro said.

All five routes are serviced by Airbus A320 aircraft operating on daily schedules.

“Together with Garuda Indonesia Group, Citilink will continue supporting government efforts to strengthen air connectivity, expand regional access, and deliver safe, reliable, and punctual service,” Hendroseputro said.
