Espagne : la justice lève le mandat d’arrêt visant l’indépendantiste catalan Carles Puigdemont

La Cour constitutionnelle espagnole a approuvé, par sept voix contre cinq, le retour en Espagne du séparatiste catalan Carles Puigdemont, ont indiqué mardi le journal El País et la chaîne publique RTVE.

Le mandat d’arrêt délivré à l’encontre de Carles Puigdemont, qui vit en exil depuis le référendum illégal sur l’indépendance de la Catalogne en 2017, va ainsi être levé. L’indépendantiste a longtemps vécu en Belgique, avant de s’installer dans le sud de la France en 2024.
