Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors’ star player, and his wife, Ayesha Curry, have always used their wealth and fame to help underprivileged children and families back in their hometown in Oakland.

As the four time NBA champion remains in recovery after his brutal injuries in the last season, his foundation, Eat, Learn & Play, has received a whopping $200,000.

A few days ago, Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry’s charity foundation, Eat, Learn & Play, took to their social media to make a post about the massive donation they have received.

The post reads as, “As Safeway celebrates 100 years of serving the region, the $200,000 donation underscores the company’s continued dedication to helping children and families more easily access healthy, nutritious food.

In 2025, Safeway’s Northern California Division contributed more than $55 million in food donations and financial support to charitable organizations serving local communities.” — Kent Streeb, Director of Public Affairs and Communications, Safeway Northern California Market.

The post added, “@eatlearnplay is proud to partner with @Safeway Foundation to help feed Oakland kids and families. Gifts like this one keep fresh food, meals, and groceries flowing across our community.”
