India continued their steady climb in the medal tally of the 2026 Asian Games by moving to 7th place after winning their 11th gold, with the Indian women’s recurve team etching history by winning a never-before-won gold medal, upsetting powerhouses South Korea in the final. India moved to 7th in the medal tally with 11 gold, 23 silver and 33 bronze for a total of 67 medals on Friday.

Earlier on Day 13, India had added 6 medals, 2 silver and four bronze, to finish the day with 66 medals.
