Friday’s reports indicate that Milan are keen to tie teenage hat-trick hero Alphadjo Cisse down to a new and improved contract and that formal discussions could potentially begin by the end of next week.
Gazzetta: Milan to offer Cisse new and improved contract
Milan signed Cisse from Hellas Verona at the end of the January transfer window earlier this year, but remained on loan with Catanzaro for the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign after an impressive break-through season in Serie B, which brought six goals from 22 appearances in the second tier.
Since then, the 19-year-old has gone on to net five goals from his first seven appearances in a Milan shirt, including a perfect hat-trick in Thursday evening’s 4-0 Europa League victory over RB Salzburg.
The teenager unsurprisingly claimed the man of the match award on Thursday night after becoming the youngest ever Italian to score a hat-trick in a major European competition.
It has been an explosive start to life in the top flight for Cisse, and now, according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are hoping to tie him down to a new and improved contract in recognition of his status as a first-team star.
Cisse is already under contract until the summer of 2030, earning a reported €800,000 per season, which is expected to rise significantly if the youngster does put pen to paper on a new deal.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Milan want to get a new contract for Cisse wrapped up by the end of the calendar year and that formal talks with his representatives could even begin by next week.
