Baguio firefighters rescue trapped driver after car crash
BAGUIO CITY — Firefighters rescued a 39-year-old driver who was pinned inside a vehicle following a single-vehicle crash at Cristal Cave here on Sunday night.
In a report on Monday, personnel from the Baguio City Fire Station-Quick Response Team at Camp Allen responded to the crash at 10:08 p.m. and found the driver trapped by the dashboard. Three other passengers were already receiving medical attention at the scene.
The Bureau of Fire Protection, with assistance from the Baguio City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, conducted an extrication operation using a hydraulic ram to create enough space to free the driver.

The driver was successfully removed from the vehicle using a spine board and turned over to the Baguio City Emergency Medical Services for further assessment and transport.
