A strong wind swept tables and chairs away outside a cafe in Ulladulla as the New South Wales south coast was reportedly hit by a tornado that caused significant damage in the area, according to local media.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued a flood watch for most of Victoria, including the north-east, central, south-west and north-west, as well as parts of Gippsland, and warned of heavy rain accompanied by potentially damaging winds and thunderstorms in parts of New South Wales
