‘DTF St. Louis’ Caps Limited Series Emmy Domination By Taking Home Top Prize
While the wins started racking up at the Creative Emmys last weekend, DTF St. Louis capped its Emmy season domination off with the top prize in the limited series and anthology category. Series creator Steve Conrad excepted the award and started by not only thanking his cast and crew but also the friends and families that supported them along the way.
“We are grateful for a moment like this to say thank you to our families, their good cheer and their faith was our greatest resource along the way, said Conrad.
Conrad would also thank HBO and its leadership for their support and guidance and did it on behalf of the 175 people that worked on the show. The series was nominated alongside All Her Fault, The Beast In Me, Beef and Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette.
While the series dominated the Limited and Anthology series this year, this marked the first win tonight for the series as the other major awards were won last weekend at the Creative Emmys where the show won best writing, directing and supporting awards for David Harbour and Linda Cardellini. Altogether, the series took home 7 statues out of its 13 Emmy nominations
