Happy Harvest Moon From Around the Anime World
September 25 marks Chūshū no Meigetsu (中秋の名月, Harvest Moon) in Japan. Sometimes called Jūgoya (十五夜) The day is oft celebrated with Tsukimi moon-viewing and displays of Tsukimi Dango (moon-viewing rice dumplings), chestnuts, and susuki (Chinese silver grass). Anime and manga are no strangers to Tsukimi, so let's look at all the moon-viewing from this year's Chūshū no Meigetsu from the anime and manga worlds:
