#SHOWBIZ: 'I have enough': Hollywood legend Jim Carrey quietly marries partner Min Ah

LOS ANGELES: Hollywood star and comedian Jim Carrey has officially tied the knot with his longtime partner, artist and actress Min Ah, in a small, private ceremony here.
A representative for the 64-year-old Bruce Almighty actor confirmed the marriage on Sept 30, following initial reports from American news outlet TMZ.
Min Ah is 32, making her 32 years younger than Carrey.
According to People Magazine, the nuptials come seven months after the private couple made a rare public appearance together at the César Awards in France, where Carrey publicly paid tribute to her.
Delivering a speech entirely in French, the veteran artiste expressed his gratitude to his family before offering a heartfelt nod to his partner.
"Thank you to my wonderful family, my daughter Jane, and my grandson Jackson. I love you now and forever," he told the audience. "Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah."
Though the newlyweds have maintained a discreet profile, their romance spans several years, with the pair previously spotted attending a charity comedy event in Los Angeles back in February 2022.
Known for guarding his privacy, Carrey hinted that same year that he was stepping back from acting to lead a simpler existence.
He explained that unless handed a script "written in gold ink", he felt entirely content focusing on art and spirituality, remarking: "I really like my quiet life... and I feel like — and this is something you might never hear another celebrity say as long as time exists – I have enough."
This marks the third marriage for The Mask and Ace Ventura star.
Carrey was previously married to Melissa Womer, with whom he shares his daughter Jane, from 1987 to 1995, and briefly to his Dumb and Dumber co-star Lauren Holly in 1996. He was also linked to actress Ginger Gonzaga in 2019.
