The US State Department announced it was offering a reward of up to $20 million and possible relocation for information on Iran's nuclear program, in a statement from its Rewards for Justice program on Friday.

Rewards for Justice (RFJ), a program dedicated to gathering information on terrorism and foreign operations against the US, issued a new offer for information including facilities, equipment, and personnel connected to Iran's nuclear program.

RFJ accepts tips via Signal, Telegram, and Tor Browser in several languages.

Since its inception in 1984, RFJ has paid over $250 million to more than 125 individuals who provided "useful information that helped to protect US national security," RFJ said.

To protect the safety of its informants, RFJ keeps sources strictly confidential and may offer relocation for a source and their family on a case-by-case basis.

RFJ currently offers rewards ranging from less than $1 million to up to $25 million for information on terrorism, foreign election interference, malicious cyber activity, and financial mechanisms of North Korea.

US, Canada issue new sanctions against Iran

Also on Friday, the US State Department announced that the US and Canada "sanctioned eight digital asset service providers that help the Iranian regime use digital assets to evade sanctions and fund terrorism."

The sanctions effectively cut the firms off from the dollar-based financial system, blocking any assets that the firms may have in the United States and prohibiting any transactions with US persons or entities.

“Treasury will pursue and disrupt the Iranian regime’s financial channels anywhere in the world,” Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent said.
