Amihan to bring rain to Extreme Northern Luzon on All Souls’ Day

MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon, locally known as amihan, is forecast to bring rain showers to Extreme Northern Luzon on All Souls’ Day, Nov. 2, the state weather bureau reported.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the amihan is expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley.
Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said the weather system is expected to intensify later on Monday and may affect the entire Northern Luzon.
